32" Vizio Plasma HDTV?

i have a 32" vizio tv that says it outputs 1080i but it doesnt look as good as my panasonic 42" viera that also outputs 1080i and the vizio is also kind of darker

  1. If you press the "MENU" button on the remote, you can change the settings.  Switch over in the menu until you come to the Custom settings.  From there, you will be able to change it and adjust it to how you wish!


  2. Plasma TVs are configured that way to reduce screen burn-in.

    Go into the settings and adjust the brightness and contrast. Also see if they have a power saver setting and turn that off.

  3. First of all...go through and check all your settings and make sure that 1080i is set as max resolution no the tv. Second...you're comparing Vizio to Panasonic....Panasonic is concidered to be the best Brand of Plasma out there. It's like comparing a Mercedez-Benz to a Hyundai. The picture quality on the panny will be MUCH MUCH better than the "economical" Vizio. That may just be it.
