33 via san gallo?

does anybody know where that is/can show me a map or tell me whats around it. is it at least a nice neighborhood?

via san gallo is long street, connects with via ginori which leads you to Mercato di San Lorenzo where they have all the leather jackets and scarfs. and if you keep on going more up the street you hit the duomo. i live here in florence for the last 4 years, i can walk aroudn florence blind folded and give you a tour. \

via san gallo is practically IN the center of florence and since your number 33, and not like 250 or something, that means your more up close to the center and next door the Piazza San Marco which is a main piazza, theres nothing there really except for a church, but its a main piazza since almost all the buses pass by through there. and from the duomo you about a 6 min. walk away from it and a 3 min walk away from mercato di san lorenzo. the only street i would stay away from is Via Guelfa which connects with via san gallo. but i mean if you go all the way down via guelfa where it almost meets wiht Via Nazionale at the end it gets kinda dirty. i dont like it, it stinks like sh i t and theres always dirty people aroudn there. i mean i dont want to scare you, ive walked by it 10 thousan times at night and nothing ever happends but its ugly only in that area, the rest of the Via Guelfa is ok.

theres no such thing as a university there ONLY in via guelfa, what is there is only ONE of the departments of the University of Florence. since florence is so tiny, the university is scattered through out the entire city there is about 10 to 20 departments of the university, medicine, psycology, architecture, ecc. i dont kno what department it is there in via san gallo, but there is one there. even the cafeteria called, la Mensa, is scattered, its not like its next door to every department. therefore our campus IS all of florence.

oh what is also in via san gallo is the Questura, its like the important building where foreigner get their permits to stay there. i have to go there every year to renew my permit of stay as a student, its a h**l of a line, but if your in need of such thing in relation to that, thats the spot to go.

It's close to the university and in walking distance of the major tourist attractions. It's a nice neighbourhood.
