  1. Yeah, feet, hands, and FACE are swollen.  I cannot wait for the swelling to go down.

  2. sorry to tell you this, but I actually swelled up after I gave birth, for a couple of weeks I was a plumper than usual!!!

  3. I've had three babies.  Each time my shoe size went up a half size and stayed there after delivery, so I've gone from a 6 1/2 before children to an 8 now.  I used to have three pairs of shoes to get me through the day at work.  I would start off with one size in the morning, switch to a bigger size by noon, and a bigger size to get home.  Fluid retention is normal, but make sure that you are keeping tabs on your blood pressure, because it can also be a symptom of preeclampsia.

  4. Omg when I was pregnant I had so much problems, I couldn't fit in my crocs. I almost cried. I wore them half on half off and they made f**t noises. It was kind of funny.

  5. My size 9 feet were in size 11 shoes by the end. Just wait, it gets worse right after deivery from the iv fluids. I think it was gone 2-3 wks after.

  6. By 32 weeks, my whole body was swollen with fluid.. none of my previous clothes fitted me anymore, I broke out in the most horrible stretch marks and I went up 2 shoe sizes (including flip flops!) just to fit my feet in everywhere. I had very severe fluid retention and it all went away within 3 weeks of having my little boy. The longest I have heard it taking to subside is 8 weeks. I hope I have been able to make you feel a little better about it, its annoying but normal as long as your blood pressure is fine. Hang in there!!

  7. I gained half a shoe size thankfully that's all so far (35weeks). I love the fluid build up around my ankles it looks soooo funny! Apparently they do say that sometimes you can gain an extra shoe size in pregnancy and stay that size even after bubs born but all my friends that have had children say their feet went back to normal again afterwards
