Are you trying to figure out how many yards of mulch or topsoil (or compost or gravel or whatever) you're going to need for 33.5 feet of garden space?  If so, then the answer all depends on how thick you want to spread whatever it is that you're ordering.    The "yards" in question here are *cubic* yards, a three-dimensional measurement, whereas square feet is only a two-dimensional measurement.  So how much you will need depends on how thick a layer you want.
