  1. I weighed less the day I delivered then the day I acctually concieved. My baby weighed 7 lbs and 11 oz.  Obviously she was getting all the proper nutrition she needed though I was loosing weight.

Unless your doctor shows concerns, I would try not to be concerned.  Absolutly have trust in your doctors.  They will tell you and be up front with you if there should be any concern.

I would start packing your bag for the hospital in the next two weeks unless your body starts to tell you other wise.  If you start to loose your mucus plug (Which you can several weeks before going into labor), I would start packing your bags.

    Good luck sweetie!

  2. i dont know **** about babies im just collecting my 2 points lol

  3. You are beating me.  I've lost around 7lbs. and gained back only 1/2 lb.  So I weigh less than when I went in for my first appointment.  I am 36 1/2 weeks.  I've been really concerned and so I've eaten like a pig but nothing matters.  This babe is taking all of the food and digesting it that quick?

I talked to the nurse about it, and she said that I wasn't unusual at all that in a days time she sees several who don't gain that much weight.  And the bigger concern is if you aren't eating at all.  Or eating like you are on a diet.  My sister gained only 10 lbs. on both her full term healthy pregnancy's so don't worry.  You have done really well.

As for packing your bag, I keep meaning to do it, but maybe tomorrow.  If you were to have the baby now, you would be in the hospital several days and you would be able to send someone home to get anything you needed.  The babe would most likely get to stay in the hospital for some time after you were released.  I would say pack around 36 weeks.

  4. With both babies, I started packing my hospital bag around 37 wks (which was a good idea, had them both a little early).  As long as your dr says your weight gain is fine, then no need to worry.  You still sound very small, but not everyone gains a ton of weight.  My mom only gained 17lbs with my sister, but she was still over 7lbs at birth.  Just be sure you are eating the recommended amount for preggers, and always take your vitamins.

  5. Pack it now, just to ease your mind at least. it will most likely be a few more weeks till you actually need it, but it's never too soon. I had my bag packed about 8 weeks before delivery just in case.

As for weight gain, as long as your doctor hasn't pointed it out as being anything to worry about then it must be alright. You are little to begin with so you shouldn;t expect too much weight gain anyway

  6. Nothing's necessarily normal in pregnancy, just normal for you.  If you're eating healthy and your caregiver hasn't brought up concerns about your weight then you're probably fine.

As for your bag, if you're worrying about it now you may as well start putting it together, there's nothing wrong with being prepared early and it will probably give you some peace of mind.  Just don't overpack it because it's sitting there ;)

  7. It's not ideal to lose weight during pregnancy, but as long as you are eating healthy and the baby is healthy you should be fine. I lost quite a bit of weight with my first child and by the end of my pregnancy was up barely over my before pregnancy weight, and everything was fine.

  8. YOu worry completely way to much. Its fine dont worry if your doctor hasn't mentioned it to you yet your jsut fine. Umm you should back your bags at 35 weeks or so. Im 39 and 1 day and need to go pack mine! haha i guess im in denile this is real! i can't wait tho!

  9. The average weightgain during pregnancy is about 30 lbs but some just don't gain much and others gain a lot more.

In regards to packing your bag I would do it as soon as you feel like it.  I am 32 wks and will be packing mine soon because i had both my other boys at 36 wks so I want to be prepared. The Dr said he found that it is best for most woman to be packed by 34-35 wks except for last minute things like the camera so they weren't running around at the last minute trying to get things packed. I went out yesterday and got me the sample stuff to take with me so i can have the toothbrush,toothpaste,shampoo,conditione... body wash and deoderant all in the bag all ready with one outfit for me to come home in and the outfit for the baby then i will put my insurance card and camera in there when i feel it is getting close to time.

  10. I'm sure you are fine! might want to start packing your bags in the next couple of weeks so you are prepared.
