  1. Secretly dieting, skipping or missing meals when pregnant can cause protein spills in your urine and can be harmful to both you and baby. When you snack, snack on protein. More information on the ultimate eating plan for pregnancy and good health on the link below. Always increase your protein and water intake whenever you experience any pregnancy health challenge. Keep in close contact with your health team and report any new changes to your health. Best wishes, G

Poor food choices, (a lack of protein) can cause problems with the mother’s health like:

1.Metabolic Toxemia of Late Pregnancy (MTLP ) - Good food choices will protect you from toxemia of late pregnancy.

2.Anemias (”low blood”) - caused by not enough iron, vitamins and/or proteins in the diet. Good food choices will protect you from anemias.

3.Abruption of the Placenta - Good food choices will protect your baby from Abruption of the Placenta.

4.Severe infections of the lungs, kidneys and liver. Good food choices will protect your baby from severe infections.

5.Miscarriage - if the mother does not have extra protein intake, the placenta grows imperfectly and cannot meet the needs of the developing baby, and a miscarriage results. Good food choices will protect your baby from miscarriage.

If you are concerned about preventing miscarriage, reducing the risk of high blood pressure, (toxemia),have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes, will be having multiple births, want to avoid premature birth, are a later mom or just want the ultimate in providing the proper nutritional support for your baby go to www.blueribbonbaby.org for the best eating plan for two during pregnancy. 2. I can totally relate!! I'm due October 8th. I have been to the ER three times in a week for the EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS, the only difference is that I had migranes also. If your anemic, that could be the culprit. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. My euric acid and my urine were fine. Perfectly normal. My husband and I finally figured out that my air conditioning in my apartment was leaking free-on. That's what made me so sick. Maybe that's what's going on with you, or maybe there is something else causing it. If you feel that way mostly when you're at home, try getting out more often.

As far as the sore thighs go, that's a sign labor is coming soon. Pressure and soreness in your thighs and lower abs. That's my problem-lower abs. Your stomach will get really sore as you baby moves down. Good luck! Hope your baby is beautiful and healthy!! =D
