  1. I work for an eye dr.  Sometimes during pregnancy vision does change a little.  Alot of times, it is due to a rise or decrease in blood pressure.  Even if your blood pressure is not reading as "high"  it may be higher than normal for your body.  Which is not unusual at all, being that there is more blood and fluid in your body because you are pregnant.  I wouldn't worry about the gestational diebetes tests.  They will do those anyway.  It sounds like your dr has everything covered.  I am 37 weeks pregnant with twins.  My vision luckily did not do anything weird.  I was warned however when it was time for me to get my eyes checked that I may want to have them checked again after the babies are born.

  2. I normally have excellent eyesight, but with this pregnancy, as well as my last one, I noticed I saw things blurry, from a distance... My doc said this is normal, and usually returns to normal, after baby is born... It did, but she also said that as you get older (of course), it may not return quite as good as it once was... I'm sure you're fine; especially since you've been checked... Good luck!
