35 weeks and possible labor??

i'm 35 weeks and 2 days pregnant and my tummy has been sore all day. But a couple of times today my tummy just started hurting a lot for maybe 30 secs then it went away. I'd say i gotten them 4 times in the past 6 or 7 hours. I now have a really bad headache that started 3 hours ago and my back is really sore for the past 3 hours. Could I be in labor or are these just third trimester pains? Should I go to the hospital just to check or wait til it hurts more?? This is my 1st pregnancy and I'm really worried. Thanks in advance.

Please go to the hospital.. you could be having contractions.

those are the braxton hicks contractions, they are normal. your uterus is just preparing for the big day, but still call your doctor and let them know so just incase it's the real thing they will know.

It sounds a little like braxton hicks, seeing as there was only a few over several hours.  But instead of hauling yourself into the Dr. you can call the ER and ask for the nurse on call.  You can explain to her what has been going on and then they can advise you if you should go in or not. Good luck I was the same way with my first.  The Dr. got really tired of me by the end of my 9 months!  Enjoy yourself!
