I just turned 35 weeks today and i am so miserable. I had my appointment today and the doctor determined my cervix is soft and 1 cm dilated. I just feel his head down there and it seems like every movement I make, he's just going to fall right out. Not only that, I have the sensation to urinate like every 5 minutes and um so uncomfortable to where I cannot get a good night's sleep. It seems like the baby is kicking my a** every minute of the day. This is totally what I didn't expect. I'm am trying to embrace this moment of my life but I just keep getting more irritable by the minute. My husband is wonderful and I just feel so bad that every moment, I'm always complaining. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced or is currently experiencing this?

  1. i think this was posted awhile back, but i am thirty four wks and a five days. ive had two pregnancies before this one and can not wait to be done with my third. i have two boys and a house to keep and cant wait to meet my little girl. we scheduled our c section for about four wks from now and cant wait. this by far has been my hardest pregnancy. i just want to say fu to woamn who love being pregnant and look at me like im nuts when i say i hate it.  everyone is affected differently by this beautiful part of who woman are. im not ungrateful but its still not an enjoyable process for me. we need to stick together and im just not a good pregnant person is the conclusion ive come too.

  2. Oh so nice to hear someone else echo my exact thoughts. I feel like most people I know think I shouldn't complain because this is my 5th baby in 5 years...therefore, it should be "old hat." It's NEVER old hat whether you've had one or 100. Althought it's been called the most natural thing in the world, it seems so UNNATURAL to me to have another human being inside my body, smashing all of my intestines to the sides and poking me every imaginable place.

I also feel like I have a pole up my butt everytime I walk. I NEVER waddled this much in any other pregnancy! Although the doctor told me the baby's head is still "pretty high up" it feels like it's resting exactly on my pelvic bone and her feet are stretched out as far and as straight as she can to ram her feet in my ribs. I think she must be poker straight in there!

Good luck to you and all other expectant moms!

  3. I'll be 35 weeks pregnant tomorrow, it seems like you described all my symptoms. Not only does the constantly peeing suck, but he's constantly in my ribs as well. I haven't felt the pressure in my pelvis cause he hasn't dropped yet, but I'm sure it'll make everything more uncomfortable. Laying on my left side helped alot when i was about 30 weeks, but now it's just uncomfortable no matter what position I'm in. Before I got pregnant, I slept on my stomach ALL the time, I'm sure if I could just lay on my tummy I'd be more comfortable at night. But you have to look at the positives, it gives you an excuse to get back and feel massages, to put your feet up and watch the hubby do the dishes!

  4. I am in the same boat. 35 weeks into my pregnancy, uncomfortable ALL THE TIME, sometimes I get sharp pains of late, in where I can only describe as my cervix...but I just dont know if it is!? and less said about toilet trips, swollen feet, sleepless nights, sore back and pelvis and aches joints the better! haha x
