36, 37, or 38 weeks?

which one is considered full term? my doctor told me i was full term at 36, but i here so many different weeks. which one is right?

I think it depends on where you live (which country) and who you are seeing in terms of medical care.

I am in Australia, seeing an obstetrician and he says that full term is 38-41 weeks. Most Ob's wont let you go much past 41 weeks here for baby's safety.

I've heard full term can be anywhere from 38-42 weeks.  I've never heard 36 weeks as full term
