I've had a pretty good pregnancy so far, but the past couple days I've woken up feeling "yucky" in the stomach and had a headache. Today I felt nauseous all day, and actually threw up just awhile ago (sorry about TMI). I have a headache as well. I ate a couple small meals earlier and have stayed hydrated. Tums didn't seem to help the stomach yuckiness at all.

I don't have high blood pressure, and the baby has been kicking away all day on and off. I actually got a good night's sleep last night as well. What could be going on? Has this happened to anyone??

  1. Maybe you got a little stomach bug.  Try as hard as you can to get fluids down, if you get dehydrated you can go into labor.

  2. I know how you feel, I am 37 weeks and 3 days and have had a headache all day and just want to lay in bed. I also have been feeling nauseous as well. I think it's just something going on inside our bodies preparing us for child birth. The only cause for concern would be if your headache was accompanied by vision changes, slurred speech, drowsiness, or numbness.

  3. Why don't you try going to the doctor? Maybe its nothing, and its just part of the pregnancy. But seeing a doctor never hurts.
