360 games in USA/UK?

im going on holiday soon to the USA for 3 weeks and ive thought about buying some 360 games for my UK 360, ive been to my local GAME shop and they said it might work but might be black/white or no audio etc and its still a misty area. but my mam bought 'Juiced 2' from thailand for me and that has been fine,is there any way of identifying if they will work in the UK or not?

It won't. UK games are Region 2 specific and USA games are Region 1. Unless you get your 360 chipped (which will void your warranty and potentially mess up your system) you won't be able to play them. The reason you were able to play Thai games is no doubt because Thailand uses Region 2 as well.

Thai games are normally multiregional

I have never had a problem with them and you don’t normally need passwords.
