36+5 pregnant. Having contractions since Tuesday and Dialated 1 cm.?

I have been in and out of the hospital several times in the last few days. I am still contracting but they are not getting stronger. I am dialated 1 cm. Do you think baby is on her way, how long can I stay like this for, need some opinions and advice?

Some people are at 1 or 2 cm a month before delivery.  You're obviously closer to delivery than that, but at 1 you have a ways to go yet.  Maybe they can thin you out again.  Or try walking (not speed walking).  When you really get going, the contractions will be consistent and get closer together as well as stronger. Most doctors say to come in when they are 5 minutes apart, but you may want to check with yours.

I've been dilated 2 cm and 70% effaced for the past 2 weeks...so it's really unpredictable...could be soon, could be another couple of weeks...I know, it sucks!

you can stay like this for a while.  your just 1 cm and probably have been for a while.  you will KNOW when its time.  when you get to where you can't talk during a contraction, then its time.

You could stay like that another 2 weeks...sucks to say but its true sweets!
