37 weeks +4 - am I close?

Question

I know all women get anxious and tired of being pregnant but I've had contractions for the past 2 days (prob BH), major pelvic pressure, diahrrea. At my visit on Friday, the Dr. said I was dialated between 1 and 2 and was 70% effaced (this is my second child). The contractions aren't regular but do start in my back and come around to my upper abdomen and I've had them for a week now. My tummy now feels hard almost all the time and my lil one feels like she's going to just fall out when I stand. The diahrrea started yesterday and into this morning. If anyone has had similar symptoms, please let me know. Thanks!

I'd say go on in to your doctor's.

I think you could have the baby anytime; but it's always iffy.

For sure, if you're water breaks, and this is you second, go to the hospital!

Having the runs can be a pre-curser to real labor, my mom had that with me and i experienced that with both of my natural deliveries as well.  At almost 38 weeks with your second baby though I would say you are close to going any day now anyways.  best of luck!
