Alright so my Nurse Practiitioner was telling me about Wimpy White boy syndrome (i know its not a real disease name but that its for the lung immaturity) My son is huge (almost 9 lbs) and I am going to have him natural so they wanted to check his lungs so when I go in Wednesday I'll know he is okay. I KNOW that every baby is different but i'm curious what the Statistics are for 37 and 3 days for a caucasion male, are his lungs mature? I know that 37 weeks is full term but any child can have issues with lung maturity.... Has anyone had this done and if so what was the outcome??
