  1. you will be on the toilet for a long time.. and it will hurt...

i haven't done it... but i have done research on it... its not recommended.

  2. I took it and it worked. I was about 1-2 weeks overdue. i just took one teaspoonful. Caster Oil is meant to help you go to the loo (number 2 if you get my drift) so it may irritate your bowel. about 5 hours later my daughter was born. My daughter is now 18 so even all those years ago it was known to work. Yes the midwife was cross with me but even she said that it was known to work but only because of the way it irritated the bowel which then could cause labour. I'm not saying you should use it but If you do don't take to much otherwise you'll be on the loo as well as in labour.

  3. first this is going to be long but it worked for me

    this is what i did

start taking baths with epsom salt every other day or so

your at the right time to start Evening primrose oil you can start it at 36 weeks since all it does is soften your cervix 2 cap vanginally before bed puck a hole in it

at 38wks ask your doc to check how far your dilated and effaced if your at leased 2cm 50%effaced if not then dont try it your not ready if you are then have him strip you membranes then your ready take a long walks for like 2 days

wait until it dark like around 8pm then start with the castor oil 2oz with like 4oz orange juice the more jucise the better cause the castor oil well be more diloated like in an hour or so you'll start to go to the bath room it well start to slow down the take another 2 oz of castor oil with 2oz of orange juice and let it do its job once things have start to slow down make some ginger tea the powder kind its stronger an hour later 2oz red wine and relax

if your runs have slowed down then take a short walk keep active for a while the tkae a very warm bath with epsom salt and relax then go to bed

i was out of the bath not 30min when my contractions start 5 min and less apart 10 min later my water broke

i got to the hosptal at 7 am and had a healthy baby boy at 10:11 am 6lb 15 oz 20.5 in

PS buy the rite aids brand castor oil its odorless and tasteless

I didnt get the horrible cramps every one was telling me about or the vomiting like i had when i was induce medically with my first all i got was some runs which wasnt bad at all if you need to know anything else Email me

by the way i was 38 weeks when i did this due for today and I'm already home with my baby

    good luck

  4. the reason it supposedly works is because it gives you diarrhea and dehydrates you, which can send you into labor. but everyone i know that has used it just got really sick and it didn't work.

  5. Why don't you wait until your baby is READY to be born?

If you don't want comments, why do you ask questions like this?

  6. 39 weeks due in 4 days and I have tried the castor oil and it did give me some contractions but I am still pregnant. I think I am going to try again later today. Good luck. I will try to post a comment if it works or not later to let you know.
