Question:

37 weeks pregnant and sooo done...?

I am 37 weeks, Im dilated to a two and 75% effaced, a week ago I was dilated to a one and 50% effaced. My doc can tell i am having contractions, but I dont feel them. When will labor start? and what can I do to make labor start? I have been walking like crazy.

    Try walking and have s*x..also try nipple stimulation..

  2. Other than the more conventional methods listed by Jeremy above you could...

    Lie on your back holding a rolling pin and roll your belly until he or she pops out...

    or try standing on a footstool and jumping off over and over...

    or hang on to one of those play ground roundy-rounds as its spinning fast with lots of centrifical force.

  3. just like me im 39 wks and 5days dr said i wasnt really thinning but im 2cm dilated. so its 1/2 good 1/2 bad. it is true you can have contractions and not know my friend was she was surprised. got me alittle scared about that to0. and i also been walking like crazy. thats all i do i dont have a car and the few friends that i have.. that have a car are either busy, walking or something else..i just tell you what they always say, s*x (sperm), walking, hot bathes, nipple stimulation, squating.. sadly nothing is working for me.. so hope things can work for you

  4. your little one will come when hes ready im 38 weeks with #2 and im so ready to have this little guy, but i know i have to just wait until he lets me know when hes ready

  5. I am 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced and I'm 38 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I am also soooo ready to have this baby. lol.

    But I mainly wanted to say to Rick, that nobody finds you humorous or funny. What are you even doing in the pregnancy section anyway???

  6. well technically you could pop at any moment. you'll know when the actual labor begins. there are all kinds of things they say helps, walking, taking a bath, having s*x can all get you into labor you have 3 weeks left till they induce. good luck
