38 Weeks Pregnant and had my membranes swept.?

Question

Okay I have gestational diabetes and even though I keep my blood sugars down and don't eat much I'm still gaining over 7 pounds a week. Also for the past two weeks I've been 1 centimeter dilated. So yesterday after doing an ultra sound the doctor was trying to induce me by sweeping my membranes. It didn't work so I was wondering if there is anything I could do to help speed things up before he gets to big... because I really do not want a c-section if I can help it.

s*x! there is a chemical in sperm that can help bring on labour... but only if your body is ready for it anyway. walking is another good way to get things moving along.
