.38 special with pink grip (ha!)?

Question

Ha not sure if this was a joke or what. Anyways today I picked myself up a .38 special smith and wesson and the grip it came standard with was pink. Inside the case it had the black grip but I was wondering if the dealer was messing with me or is that just normal.

I thought it was pretty funny, opened it up and was like what the ....

I told him it was my first gun, might have had something to do with it.
