I am 38 weeks and 1 day pregnant and every time I eat a get really nauseous and feel like I am going to throw up, I haven't actually thrown up, but I do get diarrhea every time after I eat even when I eat something light. Is this bad or possibly a sign that labor is coming soon and my body is telling me to chill out on the food?

I know I already asked this, but I only got one answer so I am trying again.

I also have backache and leg cramps.

  1. I really am having the same problems, just a little bit earlier on, since I'm only 36 weeks, 6 days.

I'm going to the doctor soon, so I hope I found out, I can't handle much more of this intestinal upsets!

Everything I eat does NOT stay in nicely.

Good luck with everything, sorry I couldn't help. just wanted to let you know your not alone!

  2. i would say go to the hospital as it not normal to have diarrhea as i would go now and get it check ok to make sure every is ok as they might give you something for it ok.

  3. I would say that you should go to the doctor and get checked over. When I was in labour i had the diarrhea and the nausea along with what i first thought were "poo pains"... turns out it was my daughter lol! Better to be safe than sorry :)

Also, don't wait for your water to break to be a sign your in labour... i've had 2 kids and they've had to break my waters twice...

  4. Leg cramps can be helped with calcium and loads and loads of water. Where does your back hurt? Lower back pain and diarrhea can be signs of early labour so watch for other labour signs such as contractions and your water breaking.

  5. I am 39 weeks and all last week I had the same thing. I couldn't hold any food down it would come out one end and I felt miserable! It went away after about 5 days the doctor said its a sign that my body is getting ready for labor but still no baby here. I had lots of back ache make sure you drink plenty of water and try eating crackers! Good luck

  6. Contact your doctor, never know what could go wrong during pegnancy.,
