does it put my baby or me in danger????

my dr. says theyre going to induce me at 39 weeks which is about a week away..

i have an appt. on friday should i ask him the exact date theyre planning on inducing me? i have high blood pressure and something called hypertension, they havent called it preeclampsia, but thats why im being induced..

does the amniotic fluid have anything to do with this?

and is it dangerous??

  1. have had a hunt around and high blood pressure usually results in low amniotic fluid not high - so personally I wouldn't think they are connected.

Obviously each case is different, I was having weekly scans from about 34 weeks and my scan at 37 weeks shows I had high levels (apparently they were double the norm) but they were not worried as they had not previously been detected.

The site below shows complications with amniotic fluid levels - but to put your mind at ease just ring your midwife / consultant and find out if there are any concerns with your high levels of amniotic fluid.
