38 weeks. worried. Is labor near?

I am 38 weeks and 3 days.

My stomach for the past week or so looks as if I already had my son! It just hangs there he is so low. My pelvis hurts so bad my husband has to lift my legs for me to get into bed. Also horrible headaches, and a lot of discharge.

-I lost my mucus plug 3 days ago

-Lots of cramping

- Cervix is very soft

-Lots of swelling in face hands and feet

-Dilated at 2 almost 3 for almost 3 weeks...

anything will help.

Sounds to me that your baby will be arriving very soon! Your tummy dropping is because your babys head has engaged. but as for the swelling and headeaches you should see your hospital asap because they are a symptom of pre-eclamsia

I would ask your doctor if you can be induced if you are having this much discomfort. Good Luck
