  1. It's difficult to say without the exact width of the field. On average, I believe a ground is about 68m wide, but that can differ from ground to ground by up to 5 metres. As with in goal areas, it can differ within  the rule guidelines.

    I don't have a calculator on me, but with an average sized ground, and assuming you want to kick it over the black dot and not scrape it through the closest upright, you're looking at about 43 metres.
