does invasion of flames effect only work while its on the field or once its summoned does it stop people from activating traps for the rest of the duel even if it is destroyed.

Also what is the best deck to beat an dark armed dragon deck, because the best i can think of is a DD deck.

i don't know the first one but the best deck to beat dad is jinzo renturner or lightstorm

Invasion of flames effect only works right when he is summoned. as soon as he hits the field,then trap cards can be played. I'll cite the ruling, just scroll down to the card. To beat DAD, you need a faster deck. That's why GB beat it because it is fast DD deck is just to slow. Lightsworn is slower. It can beat DaD but not consistenlty and Jinzo returner isn't powerful enough.

D.D. or Macro decks have inconsistency problems and are much slower than DaD so DaD would probably make its impact before you could react. So the best deck to stop DaD is probably Fossil Dyna/Oppression Gadgets.
