39 weeks and 4 days?

Question

i have had a sharp pain in my left side up near my ribs since about lunch time. it went away but has come bak. i was at the hospital for a check up this mornig and nothing was wrong. was put on the monitor and it was reading light contractions, but not regular. this is my 3rd baby, my other 2 were at 39 weeks and 33 weeks so we are really shocked this one isnt here yet.

Was just wondering what people think this pain is, if it keeps up i will be going to the hospital to get it checked.

A PULLED MUSCLE MAYBE?

From what it sounds like I had the same pain. I had a constant nagging pain in my right side right under my rib (starting about 38 weeks pregnant) and if I moved a weird way it got worse and more sharp. My doctor said it is really nothing bad, just the muscles between your ribs get stretched out and the baby barely fits anymore so there is most likely a foot or knee right in there between those sore muscles.

It hurt a bit more the last few pushes during delivery but the minute my daughter was born it went away for good.
