  1. First of all CONGRATULATIONS !

and i hope everything goes well..

I would go the hospital when your contractions are like 5 minutes apart.

you could call your doctor already and let him know..

    Good luck !

  2. Use www.contractionmaster.com to time your contractions accurately.  Call the doctor when they get 5 minutes apart.  Good luck!

  3. You can call right away, so they'll prepare your chart and everything. But you should wait to leave, if you can, until they are 5 minutes apart (start counting from the beginning of one contraction to the beginning of the next, so it includes 1 contraction)

You could leave right now and it wouldn't matter at all --if you feel anxious or anything, go ahead! - but the sooner you leave, the longer you'll be at the hospital ;)

    Congrats!!! :D

  4. did your doctor tell you that he/she wants you to call their office? mine doesn't want me to call her office at all. she just wants me to come into the hospital when my contractions are 4-5 minutes apart and lasting 60 seconds or longer. OR if i get to the point when i don't feel i can "handle" the contractions on my own anymore. but every doctor is different.

  5. i think if you are having contractions thats a sure sign that your baby is coming!

    good luck xx
