  1. I'm so sorry to hear about your grandma. With my first I went two weeks over but they just ended up breaking my water and that was enough to send me into labor. My son had been head down for weeks though so I'm not sure what to tell you. I know you're getting anxious but i'm sure it will happen soon. Good luck and congrats:)

  2. I did not drop with either of my babies. I also was not dialated at all before hand. And my water never broke like you hear about. My one child, ,my water broke during labor and my second, we actually never noticed and even the nurse wasn't sure....weird. But i never dropped with either. I had dr appts the day or so before each was born and i was not dialated. Both labors went very fast and had no real warning.

    Good luck.

I am very sorry about your grandmother.

  3. I am due 30th August and asked my OB the same questions at my last appointment and she she, sometimes the baby never obviously drops but it doesn't affect labour at all. My mum had 4 kids al naturally within + or - 2 weeks of the due dates and she said none of us dropped beforehand.

    Hope that helps! ;)
