I'm 39 weeks preg. exactly. I feel like I have a fever but I don't. I'm nauseated and have a headache. I have contractions that are either painless or it hurts a little like cramps and lower back pain. The contractions are irregular (either 8 or 10 min apart), I'm confused! is this labor or what?

  1. It sounds like it is starting, has your water broken, keep tabs on how far apart your contractions are, when they start to get closer you might want to get yourself to hospital, 8-10 minutes apart is not irregular

  2. i dont know? i got induced when I had my child. Call your doctor and they will be able to tell you.if it gets too unbearable......head to the hospital.

  3. I think you will know when it's labor. You can call your doc to put your mind at ease however.

  4. I would say that is labor.  I never really had labor start I was always induced, but when the induction started that is exactly how I felt.  Good luck, just keep an eye on the times between contractions!

  5. I love how you came rushing to your computer for unreliable answers instead of an actual doctor when you're worried about the pregnancy starting.

Tell me, what part of all that sounded like a good idea?

At least give your doctor a call if you dont want to go to the hospital and get some actual medical answers.
