39 weeks pregnant??? pink eye?

Question

i woke up this morning and my eye is bright red and swollen, im pretty sure its pink eye, but the clinics and dr.'s offices are closed today, anything i can do at home for it???

wow i have never heard of pregnant women getting pink eye. but they say there is a first time for everything.

i would apply a warm cloth or heating pad on low heat to see it that will help and after 20mins compare the redness if seems to get better using heat. if it seem worse. then use ice. and after ice has been there 20ins or so. compare the redness. if neither seem to work i would go the hospital and what they say they are open to day.

The tea bag is a really good idea, and it really does help.  If  you have viral pink eye, there is no particular treatment for it anyway.  Be very careful about hand washing.  Make sure no one else uses your wash cloth or towel while you have pink eye.

Put a used tea-bag on it. The tannins in the tea will help to draw out the infection, and offer some relief.

Just steep it like you normally would, and let it cool to a point that it's not too hot, but still warm.

Oh, and not herbal tea, pekoe, black, or earl gray, anything that's thought of as normal tea, and it won't matter if it's caffeine free.
