I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima, drives great, and last night I parked it in the garage and it shut off fine. This morning I tried starting it, and I heard a noise almost like the started trying to turn over, but it never started. So i jumped the battery and it started and ran fine. I get to work with the car running great, no check engine lights or anything, and after work, I get in the car and again it won't start. Any help please??

  1. Replace your battery. Or it could be the alternator is not charging your battery.  Get them both checked.

  2. Your battery either has a dead cell and needs replacing or you have a bad connection on or near your battery in the cables. By the way, when you attempt to start your car and you hear a noise that sounds like the starter turning over... thats normal. It's common sense really... your car wont start, you jump it off from another battery and it does start, you try again later to start it with out a jump and it wont.... hmmmm, it doesn't take a rocket scientist
