My boyfriend is looking to buy a 1994 integra off a friend of ours for about 500 + cert + e-test so maybe like $ 800 total. It is a good car, the guy's parents have replaced a lot of parts, it has brand new tires, the only thing that trips me out is that it has 450 000 km... thats a LOT in 14 years. i looked at prices on auto trader, and it seems like 94 integras go for 2000 and up...

So should my boyfriend take the chance and buy this car for 800 or no =S

  1. yeah its only 800

  2. I'm selling a '92 Civic with 156,000 km's on it  for $1,400 and my parents have been the original owners... The car is in great shape, so I would never buy an Integra for that price. Unless he is good with cars and can change the current engine for another one, then it's alright.

  3. Integras are very reliable cars.  It sounds like it was maintained fairly well.  $800 sounds like a good deal, to me.

A co-worker of mine owns a 96 Integra with a 'ton' of miles on it (not quite 280,000 though), but it runs like a champ and it still looks brand new (because he keeps it under a cloth cover at work and in a garage at home).
