'94 Camry passenger window will not rise?

Question

The windows on my 1994 Toyota Camry LE are all automatic. I noticed the other day as i was putting the window down it was making a funny noise. by the time i realised it will not rise again it was all the way down. there is not enough window for me to pull on it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Also, I am in a small college town and home is 2 hours south on the highway, not the kind of thing you want to drive with this problem.

Unfortunately, the only way for you to get the window up is to pull off the inner door panel, disconnect the motor from the window regulator, and then raise the window glass. After that, while keeping the window glass propped up, you have to connect the motor to the regulator again to keep the glass up.  Of course, since you already have the inner door panel off you might as well fix the problem which is either a burnt our motor or a busted window regulator.

Before going through all of that you might want to wait until the morning and try to bring the window up by pressing the button again. Sometimes the cooler weather will free something up in the motor or regulator. But be sure to never put it down again until you actually fix the problem. Sorry, no quick fixes; but good luck!

Ok. have someone hold the switch as if you were raising the window and while they are doing this bump your door panel firmly a few times and try to grab the window and raise it manually while the switch is being held. The motor wears out after time first losing electromagnetic force which is a result of this but also it often can be the cables on the regulator.
