'Bucket' track?

If you had just one track to go see a race at before you 'kicked the bucket' which track would it be?

For me it would be Indy, and not just because that's where we're racing this weekend. Back in '87, while on vacation, my family visited Indy - the museum, the one-lap trip around the track, etc. Since that day I have dreamed of going back someday to watch a race there. Every year the Indy 500 and the Brickyard 400 are my favorite races to watch.

  1. I'd definitely go to the night race at Bristol.

  2. the night race at bristol, followed closely by dega, indy, and daytona.

as for which race i wouldn't mind seeing kick the bucket, fontana on labor day - and that's the track 20 minutes away from me. actually, i don't mind the one race there in winter when i can visit the merchandise haulers, but the labor day race is usually long, dull, and too d**n hot to attend.

give it to vegas and run it at night...

  3. Man, I would just absolutely love to go to TALLEDEGA  before I check out.

  4. I have to agree with Viper, 'Dega has got to be it.  2nd would be Bristol.  Sounds like you have some great memories already.

    Go Jr.>>>>

  5. A night race at Bristol I think would be sweet!!

  6. I'd had one track to go back to it would be  my all time fav The Lady in Black, Darlington too tough to tame..they can scatter my ashes there also..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  7. For me it would be Daytona in February. That would be my dream come true.

The Brickyard would be a close second.

  8. Hmmm...that's a tough one. It's a toss-up between Martinsville, Talladega, and Daytona. But if I had to pick just one, then probably Talladega. Dale Jr runs well there and it's only 2 states away so it wouldn't take as long to drive there.
