What is the real meaning of these words?

For example -

'It's so funky', or

'Thanks looks/sounds really funky', or

'That smell is funktifying the whole building',

'Get funktified'..and even

'Show how funky and strong you are'...

Also: How is it related to dance and music?

  1. Funk, Funky, Funktifying, funktified, are all words that people have made up, that's why it's meaning isn't defined well in the dictionary. All these words mean different things to different people, so they can mean, smelly, cool or anything! If someone uses it related to dance it usually means cool. That word is a little old now people have moved onto "sick". It's todays version of funky. It means different things to different people. Literally sick, or kewl sick, or crazy sick!

    hope i helped! :)

  2. Of course, it can be described in a myriad ways.

My take:  Unexpected, cool, socially accepted.
