'HELP ! Needed with my PS-3 !?

hi everyone! -

Can anyone help me please with my PS-3 ?! -im having problems trying to get my PS-3 Optical Digital Output to work thru the audio.

I have switched it ON in the settings etc - but it still doesnt work! -

Im using a SONY MINIDISC player for the Optical connection and have the 2 audio leads from the MINIDISC going to a Stereo Amp and the AUX channell selected. Im connecting this way because i cannot find a Stereo Amp with an Optical Output -

hope someone out there knows what im on about?!

Go into bd/dvd setting and look for the bd opitical audio setting and set to bitstream
