  1. not always...mostly yes but if u can get away with it and its not even important then y not.

  2. I agree

  3. not always...its a tad idealistic ;)

  4. Yes. Why would you feel the need to be dishonest? why not strive to be honest? lies always reveal themselves, even if it seems you have gotten away with it.

  5. Unless you're REALLY good at lying.

  6. Usually it is. There's a freedom in staying that way too. But remember the saying "honesty without compassion is cruelty" - unknown.

  7. It depends. If honesty is going to have a more damaging affect (WHICH IT CAN)than saying something else or not saying anything at all, I don't see the point in making things worse. For example if someone becomes suicidal over an ended relationship and asks you do think it's because he/she is unattractive. If you really thought that was the reason, why would you tell them that? That's not going to bring any good. Somethings really are better left unsaid. However, I would strongly suggest not making a habit out of lying.

  8. In today's time, I think Honest is Worst Policy.  I choose the way of honesty in my work place, which proved fatal for my career growth.  I though it will pay me in long term, but it never happened.  Now, I rued why I have taken so high moral grounds.
