Question:

'Ipconfig' run command does not show?

when I click Run, then type in ipconfig, a black box shows for a second then disappears. also, when i think i found my router's ip address [which i'm not sure is the actual one] and i type it into the address bar of my browser, it prompts me for a user and pass!?

  1. you need to open a command window first.

    Start>Run> cmd(command)

    Then type in ipconfig at the dos prompt in the open window.


  2. Open a command prompt (DOS Box) then type ipconfig. the computer brain is so very much faster than the human brain.. You need it to stay around for a while.
