'Little Shop Of Horrors'?

Question

Next Year My School Production is 'Little Shop Of Horrors'. I've Never Seen It Before But i've Been Looking It Up On Youtube. I'm 13, & In My 3rd year Of School. i'm Quite Short, But Can Dance Sing & Act (or so i've Been Told). Are There Any Main(ish) Parts I Could Play? Or Am I Going To Have To Be Chorus? Thanks :D

I agree with ibarbie_moose. If you are in ur 3rd year at school it means u are one of the older ones so you should definitely go for the lead(Audrey). But if you don't get the lead, one of the 3 urchins(Crystal,ronette,or chiffon) would be really fun to play as well. It would definitely help at your audition if you saw it. If you can't see it on stage, its a movie. you can find it on line at watch-movies.net. Hope i helped and break a leg at the audition!

Well like girl-wise you could go for Audrey.

Shes blonde and dates the dentist, and is in an abusive relationship.

She sings a fair bit.

Falls in love with Seymour, and she is the main girl.

Otherwise you could go for Crystal, Chiffon or the other one.

The three singing Lady's. Their like big soul sista's, and have a lot of character, and personally i think they would be the most fun role to play, if your not confident to get the main.

Audrey also has a bit of a funny accent...

But remember theatre is a doggy dog world, and you may not get the part you want anyway.

If its anything like my school their will be some serious competition for any lead role.
