  1. It's easier to just say "no duh" and pretend like you agree or like you know something already than to actually have the courage to speak up and say what you mean or to admit that you don't know what the person is talking about.

    Have you ever seen the bumper sticker "fearful people do stupid things"? Like......when you're in fear of drowning you flail your arms about and expend your oxygen more quickly instead of thinking through what you need to do. This quote is kind of like on the other side of the teeter tot of thought. It's a stupid saying to cover up the person's vulnerability or fear.

    Just flippantly saying "no duh" when you're a smart person capable of being an individual and expressing your own thoughts, you're either being lazy or fearful.

    At least......that's what I think it means.
