I have received a 'Postal Money Order' from someone in Ireland and its in Euros. Can this be cashed in a UK post office?

(It clearly states on the money order 'PAYABLE IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND ONLY')

  1. I'd have to remark - with the evidence clearly in front of you, why are you even asking this question???  So unless you go to irreland and cash it there, it's useless to you and you need to send it back and get alternative payment.

  2. Fly over to Ireland and we can cash it together, haha!! am sure it can be paid into an account or something?  will be able get it cashed in one of those cash places you see on high street but they will take a huge chunk out of it.  Hope that helps.

  3. if that's what it says you cant do anything with it

  4. Ask your bank if you can pay it into your bank account?
