What do you guys really prefer?

A woman who wears make up, tan, nice clothes etc or a woman who has a more casual look?

Obviously people are gonna say personality.. but i'm on about the looks!

  1. Look, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and all that jazz. If you have it, flaunt it if you wish to do so.

I often find women who criticize others for looking too "plastic" usually harbor frustration and resentment because they lack the confidence to display such an image themselves, or simply don't naturally have the elements that spark an "attractive" woman. No matter how much they refuse to admit it. On that note, many other women then overdo it, and instead of creating an appearance that is beautiful or sexually attractive - they look an amateurish parody of a beautiful woman. The women who get a rise out of others for their appearance (no pun intended) are usually those that have an image that IS natural, in the sense that even an overtly glamorous image is one that oozes from her naturally and effortlessly. And there are many women who are plain as Jane, and still ooze a certain sensuality.

Been there, done that. Tried it all. And finally settled on what I feel is attractive.

  2. I find the dishonesty and falseness of makeup a real turn off.

  3. Yes, I go for personality. It does say a lot (in a good way) for a woman who gets herself made up. There even women I've seen who I can tell are "average" looking (or less) but look good because they took the time nd effort to be so. That scores more points to me than a girl who looks good with no effort.

However, once the looks draw a guy in, there has to be something else to keep him there.

  4. I like a natural look, but that being said a nice tan and a woman who dresses nice is a treat.  But very little makeup.

I normally look at gals with a lot of makeup and say "way too much"

Tight clothes can be nice.  But too tight is trashy

  5. I found that if I wore very little make up and just took care of my skin...that I look more approachable. Casual clothes make people feel more comfortable around you too...I mean, don't wear sweats and a sweat shirt everywhere, because that IS sloppy. But, wearing jeans and tshirt really makes you look confident and easygoing. I also found that I got a lot more attention in university when I dressed in a casual way. But, Canadians dress pretty casually normally...yoga pants or jeans and a cute shirt. It's comfortable too!

Of course, my boy friend likes it when I dress up once in a while!

  6. Casual shows self confidence. Make up suggests that a woman has something to hide.

  7. With this great mask of make-up what does she hide?

With this mask why does she need to paint on colours to appear permanently turned on?

What motivates to hide behind this mask?

Thats right with out it there are subtle cues that tell people you are.

With it the cues are hidden by the mask.

Maybe she does it to look pretty? Well with the above knowledge, that becomes suspect. So maybe she does it to gain extra attention. But then you underline the detail of what is up with that when you ask of why guys look. You know the crux of the answer.

I prefer a gal with no or little make-up. Preferably none.

She would seem to lack confidence to me if she needed it.

About the only deiviation from this theory is in 'gothic' styled people and clowns. On that why do some girls think its cute for a guy to wear make-up?

  8. Natural women who make an effort with their appearance and smell good but not overpowering. A little make up but not too much. A little bit of flesh on display but not too much.

  9. Hatti Jaques..mmmmm.lol. Really, I like the casual look.

  10. I would like to see a woman just after she has woken up, no make up, untidy(ish) hair - natural please

  11. The more 'real' a woman looks the better.

That way, it won't be so much of a shock when the make-up comes off at night.

  12. real...i prefer the natural look like Kelly Brook or Kate Beckinsale . Theres nothing wrong a nice tan tho but if its blotchy and fake it can be a turn off.

  13. real

  14. I hate lots of make-up. I really do.

When I see those women who work on the 'beauty' counters in departments stores all done up in layers of make up that must have been put with a pallet knife...a very poor advertisement.

    Keep it natural.

In response to your second question - it's only looking.

  15. you are not correct for all women and for all men.

there are many of womens who are are very natural and very nice. it's not true that every men always look at girls with lots of makeup, tight fitted clothes etc. some guys may look at those type of girls. but most of men look at a nice girl, she may with heavy makeup or very natural without makeup.

  16. Real, there is no question. Give me a very hot natural s**y Grace Slick over a pumped, sliced and diced Pamela Anderson any day.

I think it looks stupid, you know when you see men with toupees? That's what fake women look like to me, it's so obvious it just looks so stupid I want to point and laugh at their vanity and idiocy.

  17. REAL! nothing worse than going to bed with a hot woman and waking up next to Frankenstein the next day! natural beauty IS beauty.

  18. Natural beauty. Plastic beauty can be ok if it looks natural.

Yes people look at girls with lots of makeup, but we look at them only for a moment.

  19. plastic melts

  20. My boyfriend says he prefers real women. He says he wouldn't like me to look plastic but whenever I'm with him and he sees a plastic he can't help but look. Plastics never look as good  without make up or their fake tan so I don't get it. I feel pressured into looking more plastic so my boyfriend will still think i'm attractive.

  21. Some make up is okay, but more than a bit starts to backfire.

Natural & healthy body shape is good; too skinny looks and feels uncomfortable. Obesity isn't a turn on either.

    Fake tan - no!

    Tatoos? - no!!

    Fake b***s - nooo!!!

  22. Can you imagine 500 years from now - archaeologists find a cemetery and they open caskets and find these plastic blobs sitting on the chests of decomposed bodies?     They are going to wonder what weird religious cult did that.

  23. I think all is best in moderation.  No one wants a slob, but most men are turned off by large amounts of make up and unnatural looks.

Too sloppy (okay I forgive this woman because she is a new mom...but otherwise this applies)...besides the baby already has a bit of sass going on.  Look at that tongue sticking out.  What a turkey.
