'The Hit Man', Bret Hart acts as special guest referee in Monday Night Raw: WWE News
On May 23 after 'Over the Limit' match, the WWE Hall of Famer, Bret Hart 'The Hit Man' appeared in Monday Night Raw on May 23. He acted as the Special Guest Referee in a tag-team match between the WWE Champion, John Cena along with Rey Mysterio and CM Punk
along with R-Truth.
The Hit Man has already appeared in WWE pay-per-view event, 'Over the Limit' on Sunday during the 'Kiss My Foot Match' between Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler. The WWE Universe inside Key Arena got surprised with the appearance of Hart, when Cole denied kissing
Lawler’s foot. The WWE Hall of Famer locked Cole into a 'sharp-shooter' so that he may kiss Lawler’s foot.
Hart wrote these words on a popular social networking website, “Jerry Lawler was right in thinking I might hate Michael Cole as much as he does. So, he made the call and thought it might be a good idea for me to play back-up for him.”
Tonight, during Monday Night Raw, Lawler introduced the ninety times WWE Champion, Bret Hart. Lawler said that he was aware of that Cole would deny kissing his foot. Therefore, he called for Hart’s help. Hart came out and embraced The King, Lawler. Hart
said that he had great respect for Lawler, but no respect for Cole. R-Truth interrupted Hart and said that he needed the title shot for WWE Championship.
John Cena also came out and embraced Hart on his return in Monday Night Raw. Cena challenged Truth for a WWE Title match, but Raw General Manager sent an e-mail in this regard. The GM stated in the e-mail that there would be a tag-team match between the
team of Cena and Rey Mysterio and the team of Truth and CM Punk and Hart would be the Special Guest Referee.
The tag-team match took place at the end of the show. During the match, Truth and Punk tried to attack Hart. It made the Hit Man angry and he put his submission 'sharp-shooter' on Punk while Rey dropped Truth on the floor. Rey came down onto Punk over the
top rope with a leg drop and the pinned him for three counts. After the Victory, Mysterio and Cena applauded Hart and raised his hand.
