Zizek is the Slovenian social political philosopher. This argument is from his text 'Enjoy Your Symptoms' but the idea behind it infuses all his writings.

  1. i'm not out searching for enemies. and i don't make blanket generalizations, i think there are many positive aspects to being a cynic in todays world and i see little benefit from being a fundie.

    Enemy of what is the question.

    if a poltical philospher i assume he's talking about terrorists. in which case i don't think generalizing or rounding up cynics nor religious nuts is a good idea. I think the enemy is factioning and this your side my side mentality with stereotypes and generalizations.
