Do you agree or disaggree with this quote..

I personally aggree- as most people assume other people have a better/easier life than their own, but i think that you never really know what its like to be someone else and to have their life unless you walk in their shoes..

whats do you think? thanks

  1. I agree. Every person has been jealous of someone elses life or things at least once. But what we fail to realize that those lives and things come with just as many problems as our own. If we sacrifice everything to get to "the other side" were just going to end up wishing for what we had. Kutlass has a great song called the Million Dollar Man in which it says "the grass isnt greener on this lonley side." Another great song like this is American Dream by Casting Crowns.

  2. if u are passing by and someone goes in mercedes and u tell wow!

wht a great life he would have, but have u evr thought tht let people also think about me like this.

If u don't just relax your whole life, and do hard work for your future then you would also be one of them in future generations.

And 90% of people always think i he also had the same/better thing the he/she. We human beigns are never satisfied with the things we have.

Compare your and your friend's things if u both are of same age and then see you'll understand how much u have and how much your friend is having.

And the most important thing no one is always happy and no one is always sad. Yes u told right,we won't know someone else we wear his/her shoes.

People generally try to show as if nothing happened to them although the worst thing would have happened with that particular person.

Hope u understood my concept of explaining.

    Thanx

  3. This quote is apps correct We all look at others & feell we are the under  prevliged & want more & more, desires never end but when we have what we are craving for we may not be happy then. so be satisfied with what u have keep smiling & be bindas

  4. I think every person felt that exact feeling at some point of his/her life. I think it's absolutely normal unless it starts to rule your life. There is a quote that I absolutely love: happiness is not having what you want but wanting what you have. And that's the true key to happiness. Everything depends on your perception of life.

  5. Every human's story is more like a part of a big novel. At times we feel like all we have is not enough, or like not satisfying enough. And in every case possible we search examples that show us that things could be better and brighter than at the moment. But that's just another bright side of another story. Probably as sad of ours. So you could say that's a process that our brain recognize to be like a medicine for our current state.

So yeah, for a moment, the grass could look greener on the other side, but might be just an illusion.

Another explanation would be the pride and the envy. Or the story of an actual loser that doesn't know how to lose. So he seeks comfort in the misery of others (those that won, for ex), and can't face the fact that he couldn't win this time. So this time would be still about an illusion, the grass is actually greener on the other side(no exceptions included), but he doesn't want to admit it(and seeks and/or "invents" excuses or defects "he's fatter than me", or "he's shorter than me", or "he has greasy hair"..etc).

In the case of exceptions(of which he dosen't think) the grass, again, might not be that green. Because, in the end, you may never know what lies behind every success and every mistake.
