'Winners Never Quit and Quitters Never Win'?

It's good to have that attitude, but don't treat it like it's written in stone or anything.  You also have to know when to quit.  If you keep beating a dead horse, you'll also never win.  You don't quit just because the going gets tough, but quitting because you no longer care to finish the accomplishment, because you have an unforseen moral problem with your goal or what it is taking to accomplish it, or because you have really lost all hope of being able to make a difference are better reasons to quit.  Any reason to quit should be carefully considered, as quitting is often permanent, but I wouldn't say you should never quit!

Idiots never quit.

To achieve anything worthwhile you need to be willing to fail. You need to know when you have failed and quit so you can try something else.

Quitters, if you mean people who quit at the first sign of difficulty, are unlikely to achieve anything much.

The trick with quitting is spotting when it's the right thing to do and not being to proud to do it.

There's more to being a winner than just winning. I agree with this topic because winning isn't all about truly winning, its about being a good sport and not being a sore loser and giving it your 100 percent and saying you will try hard next time and that you are never going to give up. Quitters never win because they take the easy way out and they always quit because they don't like losing and  they are sore losers and they don't want to try again and they grump and complain about what BS it is and its not fair and they just only give a c**p about winning. So yes, the statement is totally true.

it's not true, they can end up winning one day.

But I agree with the winners never quit...
