?'s about Secret Shopping?

I am a stay at home mother, and want to get into secret shopping, I ran into someone at the store today whose daughter does it and loves it, a friend tried but had to pay...which I know shouldnt be.....Anyone know any trusthworthy and good mystery shopper companies? I am in Maryland if that helps with a closer company....Also has anyone done this and what is your feedback on it?

  1. Your instincts are right--you should not pay to register with any secret shopping (or mystery shopping) company.

    As a mystery shopper, you are usually an independent contractor. That means that they do not hire you as a full-time or part-time employee, and you may work for many different companies.

    The best way to get started is to sign up with as many companies as you can. Never pay, but register with legitimate companies.

    You do not have to sign up only with local mystery shopper companies. Companies in California, Texas, Wisconsin or elsewhere may have clients in Maryland, and therefore have assignments available for you.
