  1. Buenos dias' Chris! To express the word 'lovely' in a sentence would be  'Ha sido muy agradable' It was lovely! or 'Ha sido muy agradable charlar contigo' It was nice talking to you! If you incorporate the word for dear 'caro (ka-ro) or sweet 'dulce (dool-the) into your pre-sentence 'Ha sido muy. ... Get the picture? There are a plenty of bookshops or stationers that sell little useful phrasebooks  for as little as a couple of pounds or dollars where ever town or city you live .  Buena suerte!

  2. hmm...i think miel does sound a bit odd in spanish, it's pretty though, but it is not common

    to a male:

    sweet=dulce

    dear=querido

    lovely=amorcito

    to a female:

    sweet=dulce

    dear=querida

    lovely=amorcita

    in spanish, "Mi Amor" , is most popular-used, that means

    "My Love"
