'war on ALCOHOL and TOBACCO ??

would everyone in washington have to stop using alcohol and tobacco if "we the people " started a war on alcohol and tobacco???

I don't care if the people in Washington use alcohol or tobacco.  Why would I?

That haven't stopped using illegal drugs so I would say no.

If that happened (which it never will), "we the people" would be so hard at work to pay for the lost tax revenues, that we would not have time to do anything else. You are talking about two of the largest tax revenues in the U.S..

The whole idea of declaring "war" on a chemical substance is stupid, whether it's weed, alcohol, or any other kind of drug. Tax and regulate it, sure, but outright prohibition never works except perhaps in totalitarian religious states like Saudi Arabia, and who the h**l wants to live in a place like that? Any war is a war against PEOPLE.
