Question:

'why are people proud to be g*y'?

That's exactly what this person just asked. As I was reading the answers, people we're giving the people with the homophobic answer thumbs up.

Why are people so close minded?

If someone is that ignorant as to dislike someone for their sexual orientation, then they're the ones with the f***ing problem.

God supposably doesn't like g*y people, but God created them that way for a reason. It's just like not liking black people. Just because they're black doesn't mean they're a bad person.

People need to grow the f*** up! People need to open their eyes a realize that people are all different.

  1. i agree 100%

  2. Agreed, people are ignorant

  3. People are proud of that because they know that they are not lying to the people they care about their sexuality. It's a bit rude to call people close minded, but did it ever occur to you that there are people that have a hard time trying to change their sexuality and have really big. And by the way if that God existed, He didn't create us to have s*x and born children all day long.

There are a lot of people saying that converting into a straight man is impossible. Did you try to find out things about this? Or are you the close minded person that you were talking about. Not a lot of people can change. Almost no one changes.

  4. I agree with all you said.

g*y people can't choose who they're attracted to, and they shouldn't be hated for it. That's just prejudice, and they don't deserve that c**p.

I won't comment on the God part, because I'm undecided about my religion and don't believe in God. But that's another story for another day.

Either way, it's incredibly pathetic that people waste their time on disliking g**s like that.

  5. Hate has no justification.

  6. people are born that way and they cant change it just like g**s cant change so they say.

and god probably made a mistake or he might have pompously made them like that so they dont reproduce and dont fill the world (:

  7. ok, I think I agree, but what was the question here.

  8. It's just the world we live in, unfortunately. People are conditioned to believe that they must hate. They must hate someone for the color of their skin, for the people they love, for the way they look. It is all based on insecurity. Pushing someone else down, makes someone feel taller, stronger, better. It's a horrible concept, but that's how some people live their lives.

I'm g*y, and although I've not come out to anyone beside my mom, I have already overheard so many horribly offensive remarks it makes me sick. I can endure what someone says against me, but when I hear stories about people actually getting killed for their sexual orientation...it makes me incredibly sad. If I ever have children of my own, I will raise them to love and accept unconditionally. Maybe if this generation does that for our children, then generations from now will live with arms open instead of fists raised.

  9. hey I agree with what you're saying and I think you have good intentions.. but that goes both ways. You want them to accept you but you don't accept them. I accept all people, whether their decisions are positive or negative because it's not up to me to judge them and how they live their life. If they want to be ignorant, that's their decision, I accept that, therefore, it doesn't effect me.

  10. i know rite they go around saying g**s r ruining the world wen its ther closeminded ideas r clearly the problem

  11. I could not agree with you more. I think everything happens for a reason and if god didn't want people to be g*y, he wouldn't have made us g*y. GREAT POST!

  12. Here's how I feel.

Fine, don't accept me for who I am. Don't tell me about it. Don't come the the LGBT section and harass us. You're going to h**l anyway.

  13. god is g*y

  14. Totally agree with ya.

Lashonda is a pathetic b*tch. So are all the other bigots.

    ...

    Excuse my language. :O)

    Edit-

She changed her name to Latisha A, ha!

  15. Yeah I know I read it and answered it. Post the question up. Give people the link and let them answer the question too

  16. I don't know...would you dislike someone if they openly slept with their sister or ****** a goat? Its human nature, it's a personal choice to dislike ppl for whatever reason.

The bible doesn't say that GOD hates g*y ppl. Maybe if you were a little "open minded" you would have learned that fact by now. It says the ACT is an abomination.leviticus 18:22. Just like beastiality and incest or any other sin...lying, stealing etc. and none is any worse than the other. No one can meet the standards of God and God knows that. Thats why god sent jesus to die for our sins. So that we dont have to pay or go to h**l. Just because I'm not g*y doesnt mean I have a better chance at getting into heaven than a g*y person does. Its accepting Jesus as your savior that saves anyone from h**l. And repenting of your sin.

  17. It's a hot topic for many people. I think we're one of the most Homophobic nations on earth - especially when you consider all the access we have to education.

I didn't see the question earlier and would have answered it if I had. You don't mention your own orientation, but I thank you for your open mindedness.

I hope you can keep in mind that hatred is based in fear. People don't really know enough about other people (ethnicity's, sexual orientation, etc.) and people are taught to fear what they don't know. While people try to convince themselves otherwise, fear is at the heart of all discrimination.

But I believe there is hope - things really have improved over the years. And thanks to people like you, they will continue.

  18. Think you can post the link up here so I can see it and comment?

Anyways, close-mindedness is a fault we humans have. You're right about the God thing too, it may not be right by Bible standards in some instances, but God still loves me and you and everyone else as much as he loves the next person. Some people can't think that way, they can't comprehend it, either because they are too stubborn or very ignorant. There's nothing really we can do for them, it's just history repeating itself. First it was Jews vs. Gentiles, then Catholics vs. non-Catholics, then Blacks vs. Whites, now it's g*y vs. Straight.

But just try to remember not everyone is perfect, and that not everyone has the same opinion for everything. That person doesn't like homos? Oh well, life goes on. That homo will still continue dating whomever he/she chooses and all that hater will be doing is wasting valuable energy by focusing their dislikes on that particular race or gender or lifestyle, whatever. I actually feel sorry for them sometimes.

Those were my two cents, OJ Out.
