  7. The Gemma Doyle trilogy. The characters are very well developed. Though you wont always be pleased with their decisions, they act like real people would. You can take each character and see traits of someone in your life reflected in them. It's an amazing fantasy with a great ending. In each book, I got upset, thinking I'd figured out a big mystery. Each time I was proven wrong. I love it when a book can prove me wrong. It makes it so much more interesting then. It's set in eighteenth century England, but the similarities between our time and theres is a common theme in the book. You'll love these books.

The Outsiders. It's a classic "coming of age" story. Though almost all of the main characters were male, I absolutely loved this book. It's based in the 1950's and focusses mainly on the conflicts between the two social groups of that time. The messages it teaches are so important. It focuses mainly on friendship, which is something that's becoming increasingly scarce in modern books. I love it. It's an excellent read. :]

Speak is also a great book. It's about a girl who enters high school after secretly going through a very traumatic experience and loosing all of her friends. The book takes you through her struggle to make it through her freshman year. It's very sad, but very relatable. (For me at least.) And it has a happy ending to make up for all of the sadness. It'll also give you a few laughs throughout.

I haven't read too many young adult books, but I think you'll like these. :] I've read Twilight so we have similar taste.

  8. Terry Pratchett's Discworld series is good read.

Each book has its own major themes, but it all centres around a disc shaped world on the back of four elephents, on the back of a giant turtle flying through the cosmos.

They're light hearted, satirical, and always have an intelligent humour about them. Perfect read for someone your age!

  9. The Gemma doyle trilogies are books that i really like. i also like twilight.

the order of the books are

    A Great and Terrible Beauty

  10. -The greasers

    -The uglies, pretties, and specials
